We also offer Architectural Drafting Services, Custom Aftermarket Automotive Product Design & Manufacturing, and Consulting Services For Manufacturing & Fabrication. ABOUT THE OWNER
James Hanley, a United States Army Veteran, served as a Helicopter Crew Chief (67N) with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). While serving his country James learned invaluable lessons about attention to detail, responsibility, mission scope, and determination. He carries those same lessons forward in the operation of Hanley Industrial Services, LLC.After the military Mr. Hanley attended the University Of Illinois Urbana\Champaign receiving both a Bachelors & Masters Degrees in Architecture. During his studies he acted as a research assistant\associate for both the University Of Illinois Building Research Council and the East Saint Louis Action Research Project.Upon completion of his architectural studies he received a fellowship to participate as part of an International Team (with members from the United States, Greece, England, and Bulgaria) to document an 11th-13th Century Byzantine settlement (Canli Kilise) in mountains near Aksary Turkey.Mr. Hanley has worked for several Architecture Firms in the city of Chicago working on both local and national projects.
He worked on many significant projects: The Setion 106 Historic Documentation of the former Glenview Naval Air Station, the renovation of the Historic Main Street Train Station in Richmond Virgina, and the reconstruction of the Historic Morman Temple in Navoo, IL.He has lead Field Research\Documentation Teams for the US Department Of The Interior - Historic American Engineering Record working in both the City Of Chicago, IL and throughout the State Of Pennsylvania documenting historic bridge structures.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER
Mr. Hanley volunteers countless hours with his local Sheriff's Office as a Search & Rescue Team Leader & Search Manager. He is a Lead Instructor teaching Search & Rescue courses to agencies throught Illinois. He is a graduate of the National Search & Rescue School Inland Search Managers Course, the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Wide Area Search Course and a Certified Advanced Mantracker.
FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR
Mr. Hanley is a State Of Illinois Certified Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor. He is also a National Rifle Association Certified Training Counselor & Certified Instructor in the following Disciplines: Home Firearms Safety, Chief Range Safety Officer, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside The Home, and Personal Protection Outside The Home.
